My Fitbit Ionic was no longer syncing with my iphone.
I tried:
- Switching the Ionic's bluetooth settings to pair
- Updating phone firmware
- Restarted iphone
- Turned bluetooth off then on again
As a disability carer I use my Fitbit to time Client's seizures so I'm totally lost without it. In desperation I did a factory reset on the phone now it appears there is no bluetooth connectivity at all.
I've tried setting it up using my iPhone, iPad, and Laptop and am at my wits end. HELP!!!!

Hi @missmons74, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I am sorry to hear your Fitbit Ionic stopped syncing with your iPhone. Thanks for trying to resolve this,
I totally understand how you are feeling as you rely on your watch and I am here to help you. Before considering other options, please confirm the complete troubleshooting instructions from this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Please also do the following:
- Open Settings app on iPhone
- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned "On"
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.
