Does anyone know if the ionic has a stopwatch or if there is an app for one? I really need this feature...

There is a stopwatch that comes as standard with the pre-installed "timers" app. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2259/

@glenjamin, there are good, full instructions in the link provided by @SteveH. But simply put, on the Ionic, swipe the screen to the left until you see Timers. Tap it, then tap the arrow in the lower, right corner. It's a nice feature. I've been using it.
