Ionic won't connect to iPhone's Bluetooth

My Ionic will sync with my iPhone; then it just stops.  I have tried re-booting the Ionic (which works before it happens again) and the iPhone.  The latest is that re-booting does not re-establish the bluetooth connenction (Device cannot be found).  Any ideas?

Hi there @James3Plus, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks taking the time to troubleshoot the syncing difficulties prior to contacting us.

Besides the steps you've tried so far, I'd recommend doing the following:

- Open Settings app on phone
- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned ON

Give this a go and let me know if the steps work. I'll be around, keep me posted!

Still not working properly. The only time the Bluetooth will connect us
when it’s being charged and then ONLY after I shut down and restart it.
Very frustrating.

No,  the problem still exists.  The only time the Fitbit will sync is when it’s on the charger and then only when I shutdown, then restart the device.  Worked great until a few days ago.
