I just updated to the iPhone 7 now my app does keep up with my steps.

Hi there @Jgrif40, welcome aboard to our Community. By any Chance are you using MobileTrack with your Fitbit app to track your steps?

 

Note that with the new iPhone 7 and 7+ this feature is not compatible. Nonetheless if this is the case rest assure our team is working already on a solution. For more updates, please refer to this thread MobileTrack Setup on iPhone 7 from @DerrickS.
