Language Issue on Charge HR and iOS app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Charge HR, and have it set to sync to my iPhone 6.

Although I live in Spain, my iPhone is set to English language, and the app shows *almost* everything in English.

The challenges show in Spanish!

The Charge HR itself is also showing dates in Spanish and giving the motivational comments in Spanish.

Whilst this is not a major problem, the challenges appearing in Spanish IS a big problem.

How can I fix both issues?

I can live with the HR showing in Spanish, but I *NEED* the app to show challenges in English.

Welcome to the Forums @Mig.82! This is a confusion with the website. If your phone settings are in English, your app should be in that language as well. However, if your web Dashboard is in another language it will be reflected in the app as well. I recommend logging in your Dashboard, at the bottom you will find the country you chose, click on it and select one in English and that will fix the issue. The following image will give you clue where the setting is:

Let me know how it goes.

Hi,

I keep doing that, but every time I visit the site, it reverts to Spanish,
as I live here!
My only bug issue is the challenges sppearig on Spanish, not English.

Hi there @Mig.82! I can't think in another reason of the language issues in your challenges or emails than your Dashboard constantly switching to Spanish. If this remains in Spanish, some things in the app will remain in this way. Do you use your web browser in Spanish? Because you can change your browser's language in the settings and that will prevent the language to change.

The browser on my laptop is in Spanish, but the one on my phone isn't.
I'm wondering if I shoukd backup my data, remove my device and re-add it again. I am in UK at the weekend

Setting your tracker up as new device helps with syncing and some other issues @Mig.82. However, in this case what's happening is that your PC is Spanish, and it's switching the language. Fitbit uses the language that you select on your Dashboard and that's why you see that some things change in the app but not all of them. This issue will persist until you get the same language in your PC and mobile device.

@Mig.82! I was reviewing this with my team and it seems that there is an issue in the iOS and Android app where all trackers 101 help guide and only iOS devices challenges switch to Spanish by itself.

Thanks for bringing up this to my attention. I will update this thread as soon as I have more information about this.
