Latest update and sleep stages

I just update the iOS app before bed last night and this morning no sleep stages were recorded.  I've only had the charge 2 for about two weeks and it had been working fine but this morning it looked different and says no sleep stages. Anyone else notice this after latest update?

Fitbit suggest there are a few reasons this can happen:

"WHY DON'T I SEE SLEEP STAGES TODAY?

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your tracker’s battery is critically low."

My iOS app is taking a long time to sync post update. It is not recording sleep data at all. I use the charge HR.

Thanks,

I'll bet it was a little too loose.  I had it off while watching tv so I could charge it, then put it back on right before bed after updating the app to the new version. I likely didn't adjust it very well since I didn't walk around at all after putting it on. And it did work again fine the next night.

The same thing is happening for me. Sleep stages had been working for nearly a month, stopped functioning after the update (two nights now). None of the suggestions in the "solution" apply to me (wearing the unit as suggested, unit is charged, etc). Disappointed.

Since the latest update my sleep option is not recognizing when I truly wake up. Example, I woke up at 5:00am and started checking my emails and the weather. About 40 minutes later I clicked onto my Fitbit to check my sleep patterns, like I’ve been doing for over a year, and it said the correct I went to sleep but it said I woke up at 5:37am. That’s just the time I sync it while checking my sleep status. I woke up about 5 am. That’s almost a 40 difference.   If this is not accurate anymore it is useless to me.
