Upon further research of this topic, it has become apparent that the Fitbit Plus app offers the ability to sync with the Health app pre-installed on the iPhone... Why is this not available on the normal app that everyone has access to?

@Mikej132456 Prior to September 2018, Fitbit Plus was called Twine Health, a behavior change and health coaching app that was device agnostic. The integration between Fitbit Plus and Apple Health/Google Fit is a legacy functionality that existed in the app.
With regards to Apple Health, we continue to evaluate new partners and will update if we have news to share. Fitbit has a history of working with the community to bring potential features to reality, and we thank you for taking the time to share your ideas and suggestions.

Has this been addressed? I need to be able to link my health kit Apple app to the Fitbit app.

It is now 2020 how come my Fitbit versa 4 still cannot link up and combine and share data with the health app on my phone. This is extremely disheartening considering my Fitbit still is not receiving text messages from my phone after going through every step asked of me.

It seem the time that the fitbit has been our it should have been able to link to Apple health app. This seem unacceptable for a company that sell more smart watches then Apple. Your brand has functions that Apple doesn’t. The link to Runtastic seem to not be working properly. These issues need to be addressed.

Very disappointed. I just got my Fitbit yesterday. I have data going back a year or more on my iPhone phone. My aim for 2021 was to average 10000 steps per day now my first 2 months data needs to be manually used in the calculations. My wife and daughter both have Huaewi which was a quarter of the price does?
