If I’ve been opting out of the “Always Share” setting for literal years now, maybe you could stop. It’s infuriating and shows little respect for users of your products.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your feedback regarding the location access message. Thank you for providing a screenshot, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am glad to assist you. Currently it's required to have the location services set to "Always" on your iOS device whenever you're going to use MobileRun or Connected GPS. If you're not going to use those features, you can leave the location services off as that will not affect the way your Fitbit syncs and communicates with the Fitbit app.

Here our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our customers need and want. Please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback. You can read the FAQ to better understand how that board works and do a search first, in case someone else has already suggested your idea, or something similar.

I agree. I created a support case for this today. After all the troubleshooting, I was told that "this is how it works" and that my feedback was appreciated, and maybe they would take this into consideration. How nice 🙄

 

It is not a question of "if this causes you any inconvenience" it is way past that point and I'm with you, it shows little respect for users of their products.
