Location services nag

For the past 2 days, the IOS app asks me to turn on GPS.  I’ve turned the privacy/location services to “Never”, but this has not solved the problem.  I did force close the app and restarted my phone.  This is really annoying.  Please help to resolve this issue.

I have my location set to Never and I turned off the background app usage for the fitbit app.  I haven't  seen any of the pop ups since.

 

I'm not really sure what you lose, by turning off background app usage, but everything has been working fine for me as far as those pop ups go
