Location services option no longer available

Since reinstalling the Fitbit app today (trying to fix issue with MFP food data not synching, and due to updating to iOS 3.5), the location services option is no longer available for the Fitbit app. I normally have this enabled and set to ‘Always’. The walk i took earlier shows in my exercise list on the app and internet dashboard, but no map, as a result. This was working fine on Sunday.

Hi @hallbd14. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around.

Thanks for letting me know that the Fitbit app doesn't appear under the location settings, as well for the steps tried on your own. Assuming the Fitbit app is updated, I'd recommend to try the following steps to bring the location settings back for the Fitbit app:

  1. Force stop the Fitbit app on your phone as described here.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the exercise tile.
  3. Tap on the stopwatch at the upper right corner.
  4. When you're prompted, tap on "Enable Location Services".
  5. Then open your iPhone's settings and you'll have the option to select "Always".

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
