If you are speaking to the 'Log Food" page, it is to the right of the search box. Tap on the bar code icon and the camera app will be opened up. Center the bar code in the camera app and it will focus in on the barcode and if the barcode is in the FitBit database the foods information will be presented to you for you to modify the serving size to be booked.
Be careful with just accepting the FitBit database values as they are frequently incorrect, sometimes grossly so. If nothing else using the barcode adds the food to your food log, making it easier to create a custom food on the web site, correcting the nutritional values as you do so. As a side note, I never use the "Add Custom Food" function in the app mainly because the app does not allow for fractional values since there is no decimal point key on the keypad. And yes, the missing decimal point has been "pointed out" to FitBit many times over the past year or so.

Maybe that went away with the latest version of the app. I am still on 3.36 and the app store has 3.39.
Another post states that the Nutrients recap "Show" link is no longer on the food log page. And that is something I use every day - that is why I created the request on the Suggestion Board in January of 2019 and was very happy to see implemented in June of 2020.
Best AnswerI am now at 3.39 and am not experiencing either of the issues. Don't know what to tell you.
Correction - the "Show" nutrition recap option is missing.
You submitted a great feature that was added to the Fitbit app last summer, and now it appears to be gone! Are you noticing the same issue?

Thanks for the accolade, and if the lack of nutrient summary continues it will sever the last connection to FitBit for me - with over six years using their products, I have given up on their devices after my experiences with the Ionic and Versa 2. I have nearly 200 custom foods and track nutrients daily in a spreadsheet for analysis to ensure I don't get crazy. I may have to either extend the spreadsheet data or write my own app, something I really don't want to do. I retired for a reason - well, more than one, but the main reason being I'm nearly 70 and have been an IT professional for over 40 years - I'm done with coding.
