Logging in/out option (like Facebook) for multiple account

My wife and I both have a Fitbit and use the app on my IPad to view our progress. The only downside is the tedious log in and out process. Surely Fitbit can simplify the process where you have both names come up and you just click on the name you want to log in like in FB. Having to log out and then type in a complete email and password each time is annoying. Make the process easier. Other than that the product is good.

No problem. Download the google chrome app for your ipad.

Log into fitbit.com in the Chrome Browser with your fitbit email and password

Leave the Safari Browser for her.

When you check, open Chrome 🙂

When she checks have her open Safari.

There ya'go! Enjoy, keep moving, walking is better experienced together - so lucky!

We have never been able to get synced using safari. We have tried and never works. The company needs to fix the app to make it family friendly and not a hassle. Should be an easy fix.

I'm confused, so neither of you have a smart phone, Just the iPad?

(you initially said you use the iPad just to both view progress)

Correct we both have a Fitbit and I have an IPad that we use to check the results. No fancy phone.

I believe the point of my post is being missed. Trying to get the company to respond as to why they cannot fix the app so both names can show up so you just click on a name to log in. It is redundant to have to completely type in the name and password each time.

Thanks for your help @wmchapman. I used to sync that way with my mother, she didn't have a smartphone back in the day.

I've moved your post to the iOS App as there are more chances to get related replies here.

Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with.

This is where Android 8 has an advantage, it let's the user have two versions of an app with each version having it's own login.

Currently the Fitbit app acts like Facebook, email, Twitter, and almost every other app that requires the user to log into.
