Losing steps with every sync

With every sync my Fitbit step count reverses usually by 2000. This has been every day for a week now. And today when I was at 4000...it bumped me up to 12000. That is just as frustrating. I am not logging manually. I have restarted. Logged out. Redone loaded the app and spent hours online with Fitbit. I’m so angry and frustrated and I want to scream

Hi @MJane77. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for the steps tried on your own. I understand how important for you is to sync your data accurately in the Fitbit app and let me help you with that. Just to confirm, have you noticed if the steps get reversed on your Fitbit device screen? Also, what's the model of your Fitbit device and phone?

Our team recently released a new Fitbit app version, so make sure to update it, restart your Fitbit device one more time and test it in the next days.
