all is checked out correct on my phone as well. Everything set the way it’s suppose to be.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Starr74
Im sorry you’re having notifications issues. Notifications issues is a known issue at this time since the newest iOS Update. Fitbit is currently working on the issue and will hopefully fix the issue soon. In the meantime you might want to check out this thread here to address this issue (You can also find tips, workarounds and others discussing this exact issue): https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/m-p/38...
😃 I realize this is not the resolution you were seeking but I hope I pointed you in the right direction

I’ve finally been able to get text notifications on my Fitbit again, but to do so I had to turn on the ‘allow previews’ option for texts on my phone lock screen. I intentionally keep this off because I work in the medical field and can’t run the risk of protected information being visible on my phone. So it’s still a fail and I still cannot receive notifications on my Fitbit like I could before iOS 13 ruined everything. I truly hope Fitbit is close to a fix for this issue or I am going to have to research another type tracker that works the way I need it to work & make a change although I don’t want to be forced to switch over something like this. I love everything about my Fitbit, however this is becoming unacceptable.

Which Fitbit do you have if you don’t mind my asking? I’ve just got the very basic Flex 2 and I’m hoping your steps will work for me since I’m having the same issue.

If you select “when unlocked” instead of “always” under the “show previews” section you can get texts on your Fitbit without the message showing when your phone is locked.

True, but I still have information showing on my phone that I don’t want showing when allowed if unlocked. It’s still an issue & I need the alerts/notifications to show at all times on my Fitbit not just when my phone is unlocked. Thank you for the information!

Help I’ve done everything and cannot get text in Alta HR! I use this for work so I don’t have to carry my phone...

I am having the exact same issue. I have done all the trouble shooting suggestions and nothing works. I keep seeing notifications in my App to buy a new fit bit, but I wouldn’t buy one right now since they can’t even fix the problem with the one I have. It’s been two months and it still isn’t corrected.

agreed .. I refuse to buy another one as well .. one would think with an issue this big someone would’ve found a fix by now!!

I have done everything possible as well. I just updated my iOS to 13.3 and it is still not working. And the weirdest thing is when I make a phone call my watch starts to vibrate saying that I’m getting a incoming call. LOL it does vibrate when I get a incoming call and it vibrates for the long is time after I’ve already answered but I still cannot get it to work for text messages

I have not been receiving notifications on my Fitbit since my phone update to iOS 13. This original thread was started months ago, so I’m surprised this issue has not been resolved. Quite frankly, how are we, the consumers, supposed to find a fix to this when you, the software owner, cannot seem to fix it? This needs to be rectified so your device can be used to its promises potential.

what I found when you go in to notifications in settings go to the messages tab open that up then in the alerts area make sure you select all options for where it is displayed lock screen , notification center and banners and that's when it started to work on my blaze I just got used

This is my 4th Fitbit and I am really wondering why I keep upgrading when the same problem recurs with each one. They stop working properly and the company does nothing to repair the problem. I thought this was the one and was just telling a friend how I thought this Fitbit was the best one I have ever had. Now I don’t get notifications of messages, texts, phone calls or even when I need to do a few more steps in the hour. Really?
i am wondering if this is a really expensive step counter and maybe I should consider an Apple product. I certainly don’t hear comp, aunts from my friends who have one.
yes, I have done everything, taken al,mr he steps suggested to correct the problem. Nothing has worked.
needless to say I am very, very upset!

Same here! All the trouble shooting tips have not worked and Apple erased and reinstalled the update and still nothing is coming through. If anyone has any tips that have worked that would be great!

It’s now Feb 2020 and this still isn’t fixed?? Seriously??? I have tried every single so called ‘fix’ for this issue. How to get your users to switch to apple iwatch.... you’re doing a great job of that.

I agree! This is ridiculous. It should not take this long to solve this issue. I have not received notifications for months now. I am currently saving up for an Apple Watch and can’t wait to make the switch! I was a faithful Fitbit user until this issue. The amount of time it’s taking to remedy the issue is absolutely insane.

I should have replied here a month or so ago. My watch is now working perfectly. I did everything they suggested many times and finally it is working. I am also weseing it in the pool which I hadn’t done before. All my friends assured me that it would not be a problem. So for now I am very pleased with my Versa. I really don’t want to spend the money on an Apple.....
I hope you all have the results that I have had....

My Alta HR is now working after allowing previews for text messages. Go to notifications > messages > show previews > when unlocked. This fixed mine. Not the settings I really want but just watch your phone and who is using it when it is unlocked.

It has almost been a year since ios 13 came out. It is ridiculous that Fitbit cannot fix this issue. I;m sure this will drive away people from purchasing a Fitbit in the future including ME. I have has several email communications with Fitbit support with no success. I 'm starting to think it's a ploy to get us to buy the new versions which I WILL NOT. I am just patiently waiting for the new Apple watch and say GOODBYE to Fitbit.
Very disappointed
