I recently upgraded from my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 11. My versa worked perfectly with my iPhone 5 besides the fact I could not update the software. It works great with my new phone besides 1 thing. Every time My phone and watch are out of Bluetooth range and I go back within Range I cannot receive notifications on my watch, connected GPS stops working until I go into the Fitbit app. It then says lost Bluetooth pairing and tells me to go into settings on my phone, forget the device (Fitbit Versa) and then re-launch the Fitbit app and sync it again then I can pair it. This is a frustrating process as I just want it to work and often go out of Bluetooth range. Any fixes?

Is the old phone still nearby? If so have you removed the tracker from its Bluetooth?

I still have the old phone but I factory reset it and its shut off in my basement
