Was working fine for last 7 months. Two days ago it stopped syncing. I restarted the app and the device and now nothing comes up. It doesnt see it anymore when going to add a device. One time i received rhe code but it was connecting for an hour. My wifi at home is fine. The unit is fully charged. Everything has been reset. Can it be deffective?

Hello @SunsetRunner, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's grea to see new faces around! Smiley Happy

Thank you for trying some troubleshooting beforehand, that gives me a better insight about your situation. In this case, before trying to set up your tracker as a new device, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices; if it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device, after that, restart your phone.

After that, plug in your tracker and make sure it's charging, then try to set it up as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

Give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

Tried to sync my Fitbit charge HR but will not find it . It has been doing this since the last week . I removed it twice and went as new device and it found it 2 times. It disconnected last night around 8pm and tried everything to get it up and running, but will not find it on my iPhone. I only connected this one in June of 2016 , as it was a replacement
