Lost my phone that synced my tracker new phone won't let me add

My husbands phone he set his Fitbit up on died and now the new phone won't let him set it up

The first step I recommend you doing is the restart, then check this article in order to verify that the device that you're using is supported by Fitbit, then check this article in order to set it up.
