Low Battery Notification MIA

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I'm writing this as I wear a dead fitbit on my wrist... Unfortunately the iOS app doesn't notify me of low battery on it. Also, I don't get notifications for completing my daily challenge, or getting close to my daily challenge. I switched from an Android (Note4) and it worked flawlessly there. I also used to get emails when my battery was low as well. I've gone on the website to change my notification settings as well, making sure the correct options were checked so I should get notified of these things, but alas it's not working. Anything I'm doing wrong? Any other people have this issue? Running latest iOS on a 6s

Hello @Mazariegos and welcome to the Fitbit Community. Make sure on you iOS device you have allowed the access of the Fitbit app notifications. To do this go to your iOS configuration > Notifications > Look for the Fitbit app and make sure the notifications are allowed.

Let me know how it goes and see ya around.

It's been like that.

This problem is pretty widespread on iOS isn't it

I've made sure notifications are on and I'm still not getting notified of low battery. It used to work now it doesn't anymore

It's an iOS issue. To fix it just make sure you open the app every day or so, because it doesn't work in the background,

Personally I have an android tablet that I rarely use, so I downloaded the Fitbit app on that, and set it to all day sync. It actually does run in the background on Android, so whenever my tablet notifies me of a low battery or reaching my goal, etc, the iOS app somehow magically comes alive and does the same.

Otherwise, the iOS app alone never gives me low battery notifications and my Fitbit has gone dead now many times because of it

Hello @Rdesantis422, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!, it's nice to see you around @MazariegosSmiley Happy

Adding to @Mazariegos's input, a tracker needs to sync in order for the app to recognize the tracker's battery level, that way the notification will be more accurate. It's possible to enable All-day sync on your iOS device as well, simply go to Account > (your tracker) and scroll down, All-day Sync will be available above Sync Now, once enabled, the tracker will sync constantly as long as the Bluetooth is on.

Additionally, on your phone please go to Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure Allow Notifications is enabled and that the Alert Style is set to Banners or Alerts.

Give it a try and keep me posted if you need anything else! Smiley Wink

Same here. My Charge 2 died on me, with NO NOTIFICATION WHATSOEVER. I have the setting for mobile turned on, and yet got nothing.

FIX THIS, ALREADY!!!
