Macronutrient breakdowns in App

I saw a suggestion from 2015.

But I want to reiterate how useful see the macronutrient breakdown in app. I will never have enough time to check it online. I never logged my foood because just calories has no value. I would strongly suggest the information be made available in the app. Just that small table you see on the site is enough. Graphs would be nice too.

I just got a new update to Fitbit on Wednesday & noticed the addition of the macronutrients on the phone app.  That is great!  Thank you.  May I ask that you also add the numbers, along with the percentages, to it?  Just the 3 that are listed as percentages.  That would help a lot when counting your carbs, not just looking for the percentage.  I know I can get it online, but I'm not always near a computer to check it.  Thank you again!!

Hello @V3MYGI, welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's nice to have you on board! It's nice to see you around too @DebbieMcPASmiley Happy

@V3MYGI, currently macro-nutrients are only available on the Android app. However, as you've noticed, we update the app constantly so I wouldn't rule out the implementation of macro-nutrients in a future update as this is a feature requested by many people.

@DebbieMcPA, I'm really glad you're able to see macro-nutrients now, I really appreciate your feedback and I would like to encourage you to submit your insight as a suggested idea to improve how macro-nutrients are shown in the app. This the truly the best way to make your voice heard.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted! Smiley Wink

Same here! I saw someone on Facebook with that view and started researching. Guess it's not on iPhones yet 😞

Hello @Mrsbeeb, thanks for joining us, have a warm welcome to the Community! Smiley Happy

I understand your concern about macro-nutrients still not showing in the app. With our latest update (released on April 25th), macro-nutrients are now available in the iOS app, please update the Fitbit app to get them. Once the app has been updated, to see the macro-nutrients, tap on the Food tile, add a log and macro-nutrients will be shown underneath your calorie count.

I hope this can be helpful, In case you need anything else, please feel free to reply. Smiley Wink

Happy stepping!

Hi! Are there any tips on what a good breakdown should look like?

Thanks!

Up until this update I only logged for calories in vs. calories out. Now I'd like to add the missing nutritional data to items in my frequent list. Is there or will there be a streamlined way to do that, without deleting past logs to re-enter?

Because I don't follow macronutrients it's not useful to me and I wish this part of the app was optional.

i didn't ask for this and I was doing perfectly fine when I didn't have to keep track of this as well.
