Since the last update i have another new bug ( standart practice after a "bug fixing " update unfortunately )

 

i switch off the automatic stride button and edit the walking stride. Unfortunatly whatever i do ... as soon as i leave the stride settings menu ... automatic stride is turned on again.

 

manual stride entry and then restart the app has the same effect. When i recheck after startup .... its on automatic again.

 

sigh ... i'm so sick and tired on all the pendning and new bugs with fitbit.

If the manual stride lenght doesn't seem to record when using the Fitbit app, please forceclose the app by double-tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app. Then, open it again set your manual stride lenght. 

 

If this doesn't seem to do the trick, please go to your personal settings on the online Dashboard, then sync your tracker and check if it was updated correctly.

like stated ... restarting does not help. And your workaround is an option i do not prefer at all. 

 

I have requested for an elliptical stride option for months ... no result sofar. As a workaround ... before each excersize ... i manually update walking stride ( why is elliptical using walking stride at all ??? ) ...

 

then i do not have to forget to manually sync ... because the app does not autosync after a change in 2017 ! Offcourse when done with my elliptical excersize ... i have to manually restore back manually !!

 

and now you suggest its even more hard and i should do this drama using a website !

 

again its 2017. I want to press the elliptical button on my charge 2 ... to start and to end ( and the app using my entered elliptical stride automatically ) .... nothing more !

 

Rediculous ... just fix the bug !
