I have a Fitbit luxe and the battery life is now very poor. So, when going on a walk, I start the exercise on my phone app and get that to track it. However, lately, the tracking has been terrible and has just produced a few straight lines cutting out large portions of the walk. So, when I get back I delete the exercise and try to add it manually. However, the added exercise the disappears almost immediately. It appears to “know” about the exercise though. This morning, my FitBit battery didn’t die, but I was tracking the walk on the phone app. It had missed out loads of the walk, so I deleted the tracked exercise with the route (which was a much shorter distance than I had actually walked). I the tried to manually enter the walk; I said I’d started at 07:28 and walked 2.6 miles in 50 minutes. When it saved it, it said I had started at 07:29, walked 2.64 miles in 48 minutes. So, it had got some more accurate information, presumably from the FitBit itself. I switched to yesterday’s view and then back to today and the walk had gone. I have version 4.42 of the app. I have tried searching for “Walk” before selecting it (as recommended on a post regarding the same issue in the Android app), but it still doesn’t work. This has happened multiple times.

I’ve just noticed there is another update to the app. So I have updated to 4.43 and it is the same. However, in 4.43, the exercise immediately disappears, I don’t even have to flick to yesterday and back to today!
