Besides the fact that I can no longer receive text messages on my Alta or notifications of phone calls, yesterday I did a 14 mile bike ride and it picked none of it up at all?! You used to be able to check a map of miles etc when biking or walking, but can’t find any trace of that function now? Anyone else having the same problem?

Hi @TJS29. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for letting me know that your notifications aren't going through your Alta, as well that your map isn't appearing in the Fitbit app. Let me help you with each of your inquiries. As you may know, the required settings to receive notifications changed with the introduction of iOS 13. For that reason, please make sure to set Show Previews to Always or When Unlocked for Fitbit, Phone, Messages, Calendar and any other preferred app under the Notifications settings on your phone. You can find more troubleshooting tips in this help article.
In regards to your other question, I'm wondering how your bike or walk were tracked. Your Alta has a function called SmartTrack which recognizes your activities automatically, however it won't track GPS data since your Alta doesn't have built-in or connected GPS. What you can do is use the Mobile Run function, which allows you to track walk, run or hike activities with GPS data.
Keep me posted.
