In the Fitbit app, when I look at the stats of a completed run and tap on the map to expand it, I can switch between these three views from the top of the screen: default, heart zones and pace. The data shown on the first two views are perfectly clear to me, but I‘m having a hard time to try and understand the „pace“ map.
The map shows parts of my route in blue and the rest in green. For my last run for instance, the legend at the bottom reads „Low pace 45‘2‘‘ longest“ for blue and „High pace 2‘35‘‘ best“ for green. What do these two values mean and how do they relate to the different parts of my route shown on the map? I would greatly appreciate an answer as this has puzzled me for over a year now 😅
thank you!

Hello @BeauBeaulin
I believe the best explanation can be found here:https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/What-does-the-pace-mean-in-the-exercise-details/m-p/842001/h.... It’s an extremely old thread but the information is still the same today.
😃 I hope this provides you with the best answer to your question. Please let me know if this did indeed help.

Hi @SunsetRunner , thank you for your reply!
Unfortunately I’m still just as puzzled. I generally understand how pace stats should be read but the two specific values for „Low Pace“ and „High Pace“ on the pace map are just always way too extreme.
My last 5k had an average pace of 5:20 (per km) but the values for low pace (45‘2‘‘) and high pace (2‘35‘‘) are just way out of the question for any meaningful interpretation that I can think of. I ran each kilometer with pretty constant pace.
Do these numbers look equally confusing for you and other users too? Can you make sense of them?
thank you! 🙂

Yes, it's a behavior of Fitbit app. Many users tried to convince Fitbit to improve the algorithm but there was never a change.
