Versa 2 stuck on connecting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My iOS app never finished connecting to Versa 2.

It goes through all the steps -

  • The watch shows the 4 digit pin
  • I enter it into the iOS app
  • The watch then shows a green checkmark, and then goes to the fitbit logo in grey
  • The app shows progress bar moved all the way to 90%, and then is stuck there forever.

It never finishes the connecting process after that. I have restarted the bluetooth connection and the phone, and I have also performed a factory reset on the Versa 2.

Hi @bankim2desai. Welcome on board and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for sharing the part of the process where your Versa 2 gets stuck, as well for the troubleshooting steps tried on your own. While this shouldn't happen, please give one last try to the following steps in the given order:

  1. Remove your Versa 2 and any other device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. See this link.
  4. Force quit the Fitbit app as described here.
  5. Reboot your phone and restart your watch with the steps from this help article .
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  7. Choose the Versa 2 from the list and follow the onscreen instructions.

If the same keeps happening, reply back with your phone's model and OS version so I can further investigate.

Hey. We are having an issue that sounds similar.  We have tried every combination to see if we can get the fitbit to pair with the phone and to no avail.

My phone is Samsung Galaxy A21s and the model is SM-A217F. OS - It says Android Version 12.

Any help would be appreciated.  We have tried every combination of resets, deleting, and restarts.
