My mileage is being drastically underestimated when I compare it to steps and my stride. It does this every other day. One day over 7000 steps is about 1.5 miles when it should be over 3 and the next day 6000 steps is correct at just under three. I've tried updating the app, closing the app refreshing etc. Fitbit flex is charged. The next day on an over 12 mile hike it did the same thing. Steps would update during the hike but mileage would get stuck. Then suddenly after a few syncs the mileage updated. Also have mobile tracker. Wondering how it affects this if at all.

Hello @GB17, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
When did you start noticing this situation? Have you tried to restart your tracker lately? If so, I would like to suggest waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if the distance gets updated. If not, please try the following:
In regards of MobileTrack, this should not interfere with the distance reported by the tracker. Please give this a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Unfortunately this made the situation worse. Upon restarting my tracker I went from 3000 steps to 14,000. Mileage stayed the same. If I open the detailed view and it tells me a different more reasonable number. I tried all of the suggestions listed. Online through an internet browser I see reasonable numbers but the ones on the app make no sense.

Hello @GB17 I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply!
This seems like a very odd situation. Would it be possible for you to send me screenshots of the same activity where the distance and step numbers show differently throughout the preview screen, detail screen and online Dashboard? That will be very helpful for me to investigate this further.
I'll be waiting for your reply, thanks for your patience and understanding.
