fitbit flex issue with my iphone 6s just searches

I have just got a fitbit flex and have been trying all day for my iphone 6s to find it! I have the latest ios 10.3.1 software. I have removed the app, restarted the tracker, its charged, when I tap twice the lights show! all seems ok as far as I know but iphone just won't find it.

any ideas/solutions?

I have the exact same problem. I got the Fitbit flex today, and I also have an iPhone 6s and it just keeps searching. I hope we both get an answer.

It's so frustrating isn't it! I've googled everything I possibly can to find a solution but nothing. 

Let's hope somebody can help us.
