Miles Going Backward

When I do an indoor run, I press the button on my Charge HR.  The GPS signal inside stinks so I do it this way.  I have entered my running stride length on the dashboard and know it is correct.  When I finish the run I press the button again and it is flashes the recap.  But once I categorize the workout as a run the miles goes down.  For Example I finished my run today and the recap on the Charge HR said 3.11 miles.  I sync my fitbit and phone and then categorize the exercise as a run and it says I went 2.96 miles.  How can the miles go backwards when a running workout should be more miles?  My stride length is almost a foot longer running versus walking.

It's great to see you around @Thor99. Charge HR doesn't have a GPS feature, just the iOS Fitbit app. At the moment of recording an activity, I recommend leaving that activity under the name "Workout" since logging an activity under the name "Walk" or "Run" can cause some discrepancies.
