Mindfulness logged as an exercise

After completing a mindfulness session there is a message asking if I want to log the mindfulness minutes.

Where can the logged mindfulness minutes be viewed?

I noticed that the minutes are going under exercise and not mindfulness. Back change to the code will fix that

Thank you @JMatts I too see the Mindfulness minutes under exercise.

I do hope there will be a way where you can see a separate tally of Mindfulness minutes day, week, month etc. in order to make this metric more meaningful.

There’s been great additions & improvements lately, look forward to this being added 😊👍🏼

The logging of mindfulness minutes under mindfulness is occurring which is wonderful 💜

BUT.... MINDFULNESS  is ALSO being LOGGED UNDER EXERCISE.

EXERCISE STATS are being DRAMATICALLY  SKEWED after a 40+ minute sleep story. Quite inaccurate and will worsen over time.

This is a wonderful new feature, I hope the proper logging of it can be sorted soon. I very much would like to properly track this new metric.

Looking forward to a resolution.... and, thank you for all the hard work on these new features.

Cheers 😃

UPDATE: The RED SIENNA sleep story was logged as 40 minutes under EXERCISE and 279 minutes under MINDFULNESS. The story is about 40 minutes long, the 279 minutes represents when I actually tapped log after sleeping.

It should have only logged the 40 Mindfulness minutes AND only logged these minutes under MINDFULNESS NOT EXERCISE.

So there’s a bit of additional work to do here for accurate stats.

*RED SIENNA sleep story was excellent by the way.

is there a code I can change so mindfulness does not get logged as exercise?  If so where/how can I access that?

@LiliyaFitbit  in addition to Mindfulness minutes being logged in both Exercise and Mindfulness the same session it is logged for different lengths of time.

If you use a sleep story or mindfulness session related to sleep and fall asleep, the session is logged for the length of the audio under Exercise.

However, it is logged in Mindfulness only after you tap yes to logging it. This could be hours if you have fallen asleep and tap yes to logging when you wake. I have the same session logged under Exercise as 40 minutes AND logged under Mindfulness as 2.5 hours.

This needs to be corrected in order for mindful minutes to be accurate.

Your help is appreciated.

I do like tracking my mindful sessions, but notice that they often get added into exercise (it happened this morning). This post is from a year ago, so it seems that there is still work to be done on this feature.
