I'm new to Fitbit and using it on my iPhone only. I'm a little confused it seems to say I've done a lot of steps today when in fact I don't think I've done that many (could be wrong tho) does the app know when I am in a car and not actually walking as I think a lot of the km tracked were actually when I drove to the shop and back ? Unless I am wrong and I walked more then I thought today haha

Hi @Emilyy12 and welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Sometimes if you are driving a really windy road or in stop and go traffic, it is possible that your phone could record some erroneous steps.

If you think that this is the case, I would recommend manually logging "Driving" without quotations to negate any erroneous steps that were recorded.

Hope this helps you out!
