After updating to iOS 13, my Fitbit Versace has been receiving MULTIPLE repeated calendar notification. I’ve tried everything suggested in previous post with no relief.

Hi all - I'm convinced that my Charge 2 calendar issue is being caused by bluetooth connectivity disconnects (either from my phone being physically distant from my Fitbit or unstable bluetooth connections).
Last month I was working on a project in the garage and yard. My iPhone was sitting on a garage shelf. Every time that I walked out to the yard, then returned back to the garage, I received an all day calendar notification repeat alert. Every single time. I'm assuming this was when my Charge 2 reconnected to my iPhone over Bluetooth. Seems to be a flaw in the Fitbit software, where it doesn't recognize that it has already displayed the alert. I've contacted Fitbit support directly but still no updates or solutions.

Turning off notifications altogether is not at all a solution!
I quite like getting notifications about upcoming events, but if I have an all-day event, then I get hundreds of them on Fitbit in the days running up and the day of. It is really distracting and driving me crazy. Why has this not been addressed by Fitbit in the 8 months since this was first flagged?!? For me, it was not a problem until my Alta bit the dust and I set up my new Inspire HR.

I just bought a Versa 2 and am having this issue as well. I’m really disappointed to see.that the issue is over 10 months old and there is still no acceptable solution. Do we expect a solution soon, or should I just return my watch.

I had to change all my notifications for events to only a single reminder and that made it better for a while. But now it's back to reminding me 20 times a day for each even and with no relation to when I've scheduled the reminder. I even got a buzz for an event that had happened the day before. This is intolerable!

Try doing this; on an iphone swipe from the top down to see your notification center. Clear the notification in there. It should stop repeating. Should be similar if you are on an android device. This was driving nuts and figured it out by accident. hopefully Fitbit will reward me for answering this by giving me a new device for xmas. I'd like a charge 4 🙂

Thank you so much for this!!! Notifications were driving me absolutely insane (and yes, the Charge 4 still has the same problem). I tried clearing them on the Fitbit device but never on the phone - and it works. Honestly can’t thank you enough. I was ready to throw my Fitbit out of the window.
Now the only thing I need to figure out is how to stop the Fitbit from randomly stopping call and text notifications and requiring a reboot... Sadly, Fitbit user support is useless. I might have to switch to a different brand.
