My Fitbit Used to Track Specific Exercises Under Active Zone Minutes; Now, Only INTENSE, MODERATE

I do a variety of exercise per weeks but none of them gets recorded anymore on the app:

  • swim
  • walk
  • run
  • elliptical
  • outdoor bike
  • aerobic workout
  • etc

I am very specic.  I set the activity above on my Fitbit before starting each activity and hit the start button.  It worked perfectly for years.  Also, I could click on each activity and it would specifically show how much time I spent in each range on a easy to read, color-coded timeline: moderate, vigorous, and peak.

But...now the app only reports general activities:

  • moderate activity
  • intense activity

Is this a glitch in the app, an intentional change?  Do I need to upgrade my trusted Fitbit Inspire 2 which I've been using for three years, replacing it only once?

All firmware and IOS software up to date.

Out of desperation, I bought a new Fitbit Inspire 3 today but have not opened the box yet.

Is anyone else having similar issues?

Hello @NoelB333 and welcome to the Community.  You are right.  It got changed in a recent app update.  Look in your Exercise tile for your Exercise details.
