“My family” set up issue

Hi all, trying to set up my family adding my girlfriend but it says I am in another family and I am not!

I have tried deleting my family and starting again but does not delete?any help would be great guys.

@SunsetRunner That's strange that you are being told you are already in a family when you aren't. If you started the family and are the main guardian, you can delete the family by following these instructions. 

If you are still being told you are part of a family already let me know, I'd be happy to investigate further.

My wife added our two kids on a family account and made me a guardian.  I initially accepted and could see them on my account under family.

The family area has disappeared and I can no longer see them.  I still show as my wife's account as a guardian.  If I use the email to add again it says I'm already a guardian.  I've logged out and logged back in and they are not displayed.  Looks like the push to get this out was at the expense of bugs in the app.

@Raftingdon2 It sounds like your wife created the family and added you, you won't be able to see the feature until you update your app. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes.

I’m having same issue. Wife and I are currently friends. Let’s her invite me to be a guardian and when I click to join gives error I’m already in a family. I’m not attached to anyone else. Tried to follow steps to delete and verified nobody is attached. Please help

I added daughter in law as a friend and tried to add as a family member. It keeps telling us she is already in a family. We had a hard time getting her added as a friend. When I look at her account it looks like she is a guardian but says she had not ever done anything to get that. Is there a way to delete her guardian so she can be added to the family with the rest of us?

This is affecting me too. I set up account for me and my child. My wife set up hers but she can’t accept as being in our family as it says she is already in a family. Very frustrating.

2022 and this is still an issue.  Unable to make my partner a guardian and cannot set up his kids new Aces.
