My step streak reset

Hi. I had a 50 something day step streak and it was showing that yesterday. When I opened the app today, it now says I have a 7 day step streak. Has anyone else experienced this? When I opened the app, I had been signed out and had to log back in, which is odd because that hasn’t happened before. Any idea how to get my step streak back?
