My steps are not counting for the Daily Challenge.

I am having great fun with daily challenges from friends but often when I am invited to a daily challenge I accept the challenge and I appear to be entered into the challenge but with no steps, also other people in the challenge think I havent joined because they cannot see my name in the list of participants. I have tried manually syncing and re-booting my phone but still my steps are not included.

Thanks for letting us know about this situtation. Our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Please remember that manually logged in activities do not count towards a challenge.

I'm currently having the exact same issue.  I'm also showing up to friends as inactive.

@JenJen74EMT, thanks for reporting this situaiton. As mentioned before, our team is currently aware of this situation and is working towards finding a prompt and proper resolution. This issue might be also the reason you're appearing inactive to your friends, as the challenge is not counting your steps. 

 

@Smileyng, thanks for letting me know this is only happening in one of your Challenges, this information will be very helpful as well. 

 

@JenJen74EMT and @Smileyng, in the meantime, in order to refresh the information of your challenges, please try to forceclose the app by double-tapping the home button and swiping up the app. If this doesn't seem to do the trick, please log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.
