Is there a way to set the charge hr to calculate net calories on the dashboard? For example, I eat 1,600 calories a day and today I burned 475 calories with my exorcise in the morning. Even though my Fitbit is in sports mode, it doesn't facotor in my calories burned for the calories in/out. So basically it's telling me to eat around 1,000 calories. Surely there's a way to adjust this. I don't like having to switch back and forth between MFP and the dashboard to keep an accurate calorie count.

Hi Sculdra

Have moved this thread from the Charge HR to the iOS App section to increase the chance of getting a solution.

Your post will get more attention here.

Hi there @Sculdra welcome aboard to our Community and thank you for your support @SunsetRunner.

You cannot adjust your Charge HR to do this but you can with your Dashboard. The calories in vs. out gauge gives dynamic feedback of whether you are under, in, or above your selected plan's recommended calorie deficit. This information is updated based on your foods logged and activities recorded by your tracker. In other words your calorie budget resets to a certain number at the start of each day, as the day progresses your calorie budget fluctuates based on your activity, increasing when it projects you will exceed your average daily calorie burn (for example if you go on a big run in the morning) and decreasing/normalizing when your activity slows later on.

However you can select "Set my own calorie target" to establish a permanent daily calorie goal in case this fluctuation caused confusion. Go to your web-based Dashboard to make the change on your Food page.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.
