I just purchased a Blaze. It will not Bluetooth and connect to my iPhone 6s. It either can't find it and says searching or it occasionally says it is found but just sits for hours on the screen that says connecting to tracker. I have tried adding the blaze to my account with my iPad and it works on the iPad but not on iPhone. However that does me no good since I don't carry my iPad around with my all day. I'm getting very frustrated please help. I have always loved my Fitbit but I'm thinking upgrading to the blaze was a bad idea.

If your Blaze is not syncing with your iPhone but it's syncing with your iPad, it's possible that a Bluetooth bond was formed between the iPad and the tracker. This bond might be preventing your iPhone from syncing with the Blaze, in which case I would like to suggest the following:

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and check if the tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth on your iPad.
  • Open the Fitbit app on your iPhone and try to sync your Blaze one more time.

Please note that if your Blaze has already been paired to your account, you don't need to set it up on each device, simply open the Fitbit app (on either one of your devices) and the tracker will start syncing. Additionally, please keep in mind that Fitbit trackers do not sync directly through the Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet, they use the Fitbit app for that.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
