New Sleep tracker wildly inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I updated my Fitbit yesterday and was excited to learn that it would show more details about my sleep patterns. However, this morning I noticed that the time I was supposedly in my deepest sleep was before I'd even gone to bed. This is outrageously inaccurate. During that time I was not idly watching tv or reading, I was working on household chores.

Hello @MissyMaus, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it seems very odd that your sleep stages are showing deep sleep at the wrong hours. In this case I would like to suggest restarting your tracker and going to the device settings on the online Dashboard and check if the sleep sensitivity has been set to Normal or Sensitive, If it's on Sensitive, please change it to Normal and sync your tracker. If it's on Normal, change it to Sensitive, sync your tracker, change it back to Normal and sync once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know if you experience the same situation once again. Additionally, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted! Smiley Wink

I've been noticing similar inaccuracies since the last update. Deep sleep seems to be logged at the very beginning and end of my sleep cycle and my awake minutes seem too high:

This is a Charge 2 with firmware version 22.22.48.14, Sleep Sensitivity is set to Normal. I'll try restarting it and see if that has any effect tonight.

I have noticed that my sleep stages on my charge2 have dramatically changed in the last weeks.  I went from getting more than an hour and a half of deep sleep to less than 50 minutes.   It is very very disturbing as my sleep has always been so steady.  It seems like there might have been a change to the software recently that has negatively affected my sleep tracker.

Same issues here on my Alta - updated firmware to 21.40.2 a couple of days ago and my restless sleep periods have gone through the roof. About 3 hours 40 mins for each of the last two nights - previously would only be an hour to hour and a half. I felt I’d slept quite well last couple of nights as well, so obviously something has changed. Not very happy about this as sleep patterns was the main reason I originally bought a Fitbit.

Fitbit keeps telling me at my age I should expect to see variations.  WTF?  In the last 3 weeks?  It is irritating!
