Hi . So have the new dashboard. Old one used to track exercise automatically and can't figure how to do this with new version? I admit I not very tech minded but can't see how to 'custise' what I want. Thanks for any help. C

Hello, @Carol30@Jenpet3! I'm sorry to hear that the new version of the dashboard is not what you expected, however this should not be interfering with the accuracy of the "SmartTrack" feature, which automatically recognizes:

  • Walk
  • Run
  • Outdoor Bike
  • Elliptical
  • Sport
  • Aerobic Workout

For more information about it, please read this cool post that my friend, @MarreFitbit did regarding this topic. Now, to check your workouts recorded and your activities, simply select or tap this icon below.

Also make sure that you already have the latest version of the App, which is 2.26.1 released yesterday to avoid having inconveniences with it. You can do this on your App store.

I hope this helps, and thank you for your feedback regarding the new dashboard. Cat Wink

Actually, I would recommend you do anything in your power to AVOID UPDATING to 2.26.1. Because once you do that, you can never get the old dashboard back, which works and has good features. You'll be stuck with the new one, which is inferior in multiple ways. I updated, and I'd give anything to be able to go back! I even deleted the app and tried to download an older version, but I couldn't. 😞

@groundzero It's great to see you in the Community! I really appreciate your feedback regarding the new Dashboard compared to the old one. However, you can go ahead and vote for this feature request which suggests to have the old Dashboard.
