I just purchased a fitbit alta. It is not connecting to any devices. should i return for a new one?

I was having the same issue last week when i purchased my Charge 2 it would keep displaying the 4 digit pin and then wouldn't connect it to my device and then their were times it wouldn't even locate the tracker and the app would just continue to search till it timed out. The only way i was able to fix it was to attach it to the charger and power it down and then turn it back on attempt to reconnect it again. Hopefully this helps if not I would suggest getting it replaced.

@aes111, as @SunsetRunner and @Dashon3100 mentioned, restarting your device will be very helpful in case your Alta is still not connecting with your mobile device. Additionally, please restart your mobile device and try to set up your Alta as new device.
