Hi,

I had a fitbit versa and the Fitbit app. Now I have purchased the Fitbit versa 2...do I need to download a new fitbit appp?

No, you don't need to do anything with the app. Do one final sync of your Versa then just go into your account settings on the app by selecting your profile image at the top left and then select "set up a device". When you choose the Versa 2 it will ask if you want to replace your existing Versa. Just say yes and follow the prompts. All your data, badges, settings etc will be retained.
