I just got a new iphone 5 with a new carrier. How do I transfer my Fitbit to new phone without losing my account information

All your data is held on the fitbit servers rather than your phone so this shouldn't be an issue. Just download the fitbit app and sign on using your existing account details.
One thing to check though is whether your old phone still has a bluetooth connection. If it has, delete it as this may stop your new phone connecting.

@IndianaTon, as @SteveH mentioned, all the information from your account gets stored in our servers, once you download the Fitbit app and log in to your account, the information will be available on your new phone. Additionally, please go to your old phone Bluetooth settings and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices; if it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then, try to sync your tracker with your new phone.
