My phone this morning declared to be that the Fitbit app had been updated to a new sleek look so I clicked continue, basically I hate it and want to revert back to the previous look is there anything in the setting I can change to get back the previous layout which was much better!

I'm afraid that once we change to the new layout we can't go back.
Fitbit has a help file for the new design that might help get used to it: Help article: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

Thanks for the reply I don’t have any difficulty using the new app it’s just not very good, your previous layout was much more Intuitive and all the stats were easily seen at a glance the new layout however is a step backwards in my opinion.

There always seem to be lots of negative comments when things change and there are many who agree with you. You might want to keep in touch with the main thread on this change at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/New-Dashboard-app-version-2-95-iOS/td-p/3430187 where you can add your comments and see comments from fitbit
(PS I don't work for fitbit so can't take any credit / blame for the changes!)

Thank you!!! I really don't like the new lay out but your link has really helped it be a little more tolerable!

I agree. I had no option not to decline this new look, and I hate it. I want my steps at the top with the grid layout
for food, water, etc directly underneath. It had better visibility and was much more user friendly as you could see everything st s glance. Now it's more work to scroll through the list and open each each category. Dumb move, Fitbit.
