Opinion on the newest update is too much work to find out basic of info. How many hours slept, how are my friends doing in comparison. Seriously have to tap more tabs just to find out basic information. Go back to the old version!

While the new update appears challenging, the data acquired such as more accuratecR.E.M. Sleep adds significantly to the future experience with other health apps

Hello @Rogers007, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community!
Thanks for your insight about this situation, as you mentioned, the data acquired from the new Sleep Stages were implemented in order to add deeper insight about a person's sleep quality. It might seem more complicated but it does add a better way to measure a person's sleep.
Thank you for your participation, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted.

I'm hoping in the future heart rate variability (HRV) will be added! The ability to assess sleep stages, with HRV will facilitate home health strategies in the context of diet and exercise changes.
HRV embodies so much as a stress signal, it is a necessary next step whether the Fitbit is used by an athlete or part of a general health tool. The tracking of HRV using the currently collected heart rate date significantly enhances the potential utility of a Fitbit!

Hi there @Rogers007, thanks for taking the time to reply, I hope you're having a great day!
I really appreciate your insight and I understand how important it is for you and many people to have HRV added to assist Sleep Stages, which is why I went ahead and found a suggested idea by @Username4242 to integrate HRV for sleep cycles. Feel free to add your vote and comment to this idea, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, don't hesitate to reply!
