IOS 10.1.1 and latest Fitbit app in November 2016. It seems that since the last update, I get no low battery updates and then I find out that I've lost all recording of my steps up to the point it lost power. My wife is having the same problem.

I purchased a Flex 2 recently and use it with an IPhone. I have not been able to get the Low Battery alerts on the IPhone. My account settings on the Fitbit website have Low Battery alerts turned on for both phone and email. I receive the email alerts, but not the iPhone alerts. The iPhone alert is more valuable, since you get that immediately. The email is only good if you check the email frequently.

Also regarding the Email, I think the timing is wrong because it seems that by the time I get the email the battery is past low and is already dead. To be effective that email needs to go out earlier than that. Perhaps at 20%.

Lastly, on the iPhone App, it would be helpful if the visual for the Battery life on showed the percentage of battery rather than just a 3 tiered color. When it displays as Red (Low Battery) I have no idea how much is battery is left. Is it a day, a half day, or a few hours? If it showed a percentage I can make a better guess at how much battery is left. 15% tells me I have more time than 5% which tells me in need to charge ASAP.

Hello @MIBUK and @MGsurfer, have a warm welcome to the Community!

In this case I'd like to suggest resetting the notifications for low battery on your Dashboard. Please go to the Notifications Settings on your online Dashboard and unmark both Mobile and Email boxes, then Save; mark the boxes again and save once again. After that, please verify if you receive the low battery notification on your phone.

@MGsurfer I think your idea about a showing a percentage next to the battery is terrific and I've found a suggested idea to implement this feature in a new update. Feel free to vote for it or add your comment to show your support, this is the best place to make your voice heard. Smiley Wink
