Hi there @SunsetRunner, Good to see you around in our Community. Certainly this is something that does not happen too often.
By any chance your tracker drained the battery out before you were able to sync during that period of time?
Did you were using the tracker during that time?
All trackers have the ability to store at least 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data if you are not able to sync constantly. Summary data (calories, distance, and steps) will be stored for the trailing 30 days. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. However i your tracker was not in use, it wont sync any information as you may know; but if the tracker is out of battery it might loose your data.
Unfortunately, this information cannot be recovered. As a workaround you can manually log exercises for those days to average your step count. You can use this post for more information to create manual entries on your Fitbit app.
I'm sorry I cannot offer you a better solution, nonetheless keep me posted if the issue persists.
