Wow! I followed the steps and re-paired my phone in app, but still doesn’t
come through. Guess I’ll be calling again! Worked great til this latest iOS
update!

Ok after turning a million things off and on and back off I have finally got text message notifications working on my Fitbit Blaze/iPhone 8 this evening.

The latest thing I did was update my iPhone to the latest software. Deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it. Then repaired my Fitbit to my iPhone.

I then set the following on my iPhone (which made it start working):

settings>notifications>messages

under alerts made sure there was a tick in all 3 boxes (lock screen/notification centre/banners)

My sounds was already set to “Note”

Show previews was set to Always

Notification grouping was set to Automatic

Repeat Alerts was set to once

Lets see how long it works for 🙂

My whats app notifications have also started coming through this evening.

For the person who mentioned further up the thread that Fitbit has never worked with Whats App...

Under the Fitbit app, click on the Fitbit icon in the top left corner (mine is a Blaze), click on Notifications, click on App Notifications

This is where all other notifications will be listed that you can use (eg calendar, screen time, Whats App etc)
So with Whats App you need to receive a message from someone to start with and it will then list Whats App here. You can then turn it on

For me notifications still randomly stop working. Sometimes the connection doesn't seem to recover from dnd which I activate for the night. The only fix for me is to restart my phone which temporarily makes everything work again until it randomly stops.

Hello @SunsetRunner, @mikchaos@vsseym@Wsbest@debdebdebdeb@johnt11 and @UF, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for coming back.

I appreciate your contact feedback and for keeping us updated. I would like to thank those of you who have come back and let us know your issue has now been resolved, I'm very glad. For those of you who are still having issues, would it be possible for you to go to your phone Settings > Notifcations > Fitbit and Settings > Notifications > Messages and take screenshots of what you're able to see here? Then reply to us with them. This will be very helfpul for us to check this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we'll be waiting to hear from you.

Uf here, I’ve implemented most of the suggestions. I’m now receiving Fitbit notifications on my ionic. But, that’s all. Nothing from any of my three mail accounts, messages or phone. Puzzled!

I am still in the same boat as you. My text notifications have stopped after the iOS update. No one has any answers to what’s going on. Think I’m switching to an Apple Watch.

Mine is completely opposite. I’ve been receiving texts/calls from my phone to my blaze however my phone is not receiving notifications from the Fitbit app like I used to.

Any new update regarding the fitbit no notifications after ios 12 update ?

Once the customer service person helped me I got it back. One of the things
she had me do is turn notifications off and back on. When that didn’t work
first time she took other steps including disconnecting and reconnecting
but I failed to write those steps down. Calling them is always a good
option!

My Charge 3 continues to have issues....

If I turn off notifications on my Charge 3, I get emails from my phone, text, and phone calls, but there is no vibration.

If I turn Notifications on, there is vibration, but the emails will not clear from my watch (they clear then come right back with a long string of old emails), and they keep coming back.... for a couple of days, then they stop.

I just turn off notifications, but that doesn't help because I don't know anything is coming in....

I still have my old timex ironman watch, and just bought a new band.. it is now 6 months and nothing is resolved.
