No sleep information for last night

I have a Charge 2, and this morning I don’t have any sleep information tracked in my sleep tile. The heart rate tile shows recorded beats and the battery charge was at about 40%. Any advice please. I have tried turning the IPad off and on again.

Hello and welcome @WitneyJanet

Im sorry to see that your sleep information did not appear this morning. Here are a few things you can try to see if it resolves this issue and gets you back up and running again. The first suggestion would be to restart your Charge 2. You will not lose any data doing this.

Heres how:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    • For Charge 2—press and hold the button on your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
    • For Charge 3—press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

also it might be helpful if you turn on your heart rate to “on” versus “auto”.
Here’s how:

open your Fitbit App

tap your profile picture

Tap charge 2

scroll down and tap heart rate

change setting to on

You can also set your sleep to sensitive. Here’s how:

open your Fitbit App

Tap your profile picture on the upper left

scroll down and tap advanced settings

scroll down to sleep sensitivity

Enable to sensitive

😃 please do keep me updated and let me know if these changes helped your sleep information issue tomorrow morning. If my suggestions do indeed help could you please tap the “choose as best answer” just under my post? It really helps others who come to this Community looking for answers to questions similar to your own. I’d really appreciate it!

Thank you MegaBite for your full reply. What I did was, manually enter approx sleep times, which gave me the sleep data and score. Then I decided not to adjust my setting etc and see if it was just ‘one of those things’-which it must have been as this morning I have the usual helpful information.

it’s nice to know you’re out there to troubleshoot.

ps I like Sleep Score
