No sync outside USA

Both my wife and I have been using Zip Fitbits daily for a few years with our iPhones: iPhone 5S and iPhone 7 now. We have never been able to get the iPhone application to work when outside the USA. We have had this problem multiple times in multiple countries and onboard cruise ships. Recently in St Thomas, it would not sync either thru the cellular connection or the WiFi on land.  It will work fine as soon as we are back in USA. It seems to make the Bluetooth connection but fail to communicate with mother Fitbit via network.  Does the iOS app use some funky ports not easily accessible from nonUSA connections?  This has been very frustrating. Appreciate any help. Is there an off line Fitbit app for logging and seeing your daily activity?  Thanks

Hi @Bricee,

The iOS App works anywhere that has the required internet connection in order to sync the tracker and there isn't any sort of separate off-line App for logging and seeing your daily activity.

If you are still having trouble with syncing your Zip, I would recommend making sure that you have a strong internet connection and then trying the sync troubleshoots mentioned here.
