Bought my surge Dec 2015. Worked perfectly for a month. Called customer services. Advised to turn on/off. Done thus numerous times and still not working. Turned off Bluetooth, no change, iPhone 6s is set up for notifications etc. Any help gravely received!

Welcome to the Fitbit family @Girlfromclapham! No worries, I had the same situation with my Surge and it took me several tries to get my Text/Call Notifications on my Surge. First thing to do is:

1. Make sure that your Bluetooth is on

2. Go to your mobile Dashboard for iOS

3. Tap your Surge's tile and scroll down until you have Notifications

4. Tap Notifications' toggle on (you iOS requires your Surge to be paired to your iPhone, so at this point it might request authorization to do so)

5. If you're not prompted a pair request message do the following:

  •  Go to your iOS settings
  • Tap Bluetooth
  • Make sure your Surge says Connected
  • If it says connected, tap the exclamation point and tap Forget this device
  • At this point restart your iOS device and Bluetooth and Go to your Fitbit app and repeat the process from step 1 to 4.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted with the outcome! Cat Tongue
