Hi @Gluequeen. Welcome to the Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for your efforts while troubleshooting your Fitbit prior posting. I'm sorry that you're having this situation and I'll help you out with your inquiries. About the notifications, our team has received feedback about this situation experienced after updating to iOS 13, and they're currently working to bring a solution as fast as possible. For more updates about this issue, please refer to this thread.

Now, in regards to the battery icon showing an exclamation mark, is this displayed on your Fitbit itself? May I know the model of your Fitbit? Also, if you've not done so please try cleaning the gold contacts on your Fitbit and charging cable, as well perform a restart to refresh its settings. Then charge it as you normally do and keep an eye on its behavior.

Let me know how everything goes.

Hi. Thank you for the reply. I have a Fitbit Alta. I have tried all the solutions and still am not receiving texts. This was part of the reason I gave up my old Fitbit so that’s very disappointing. I hope there will be a fix soon

as to the battery issue, I’ve restarted my Fitbit several times and it currently seems to be charging and working.

please let me know what else I can do about text notifications. Are the new Fitbit altas also having this problem?

Hello @Gluequeen

Im happy to read that the restarting of your Fitbit Alta as @LizzyFitbit instructed did indeed resolve the battery issue. That’s great news!
As far as the notifications issue I have an Alta HR like you asked about and they are experiencing the notifications issues like everyone else. But as the moderator mentioned the Fitbit Team is indeed working on a fix and hopefully the fix will be forthcoming soon. In the meantime do visit the link provided by the moderator to stay updated with the notifications issue as well as see possible tips and/or workarounds that might help.
